Linden, NJ, September 28, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Availius LLC (CEO Konstantin Bas) has previously announced the launch of a unique product designed for collecting stool samples for clinical tests. Starting September 2016, Availius has been manufacturing the specialized Gastrointestinal Pathogen Panel test kit. This molecular test can literally save lives by detecting and diagnosing potentially deadly pathogens in as little as just 8 to 12 hours, instead of 5 to 7 days, as in the case of microbiological tests. This means that the appropriate treatment can be administered as early as possible.
The weakest link in the performance of this test was the process of collecting stool samples. The product developed by Availius offers a solution to this issue, when patients suffering from diarrhea have to get the properly collected biomaterial to the lab as fast as possible.
The kits ordered by the laboratory include all that’s required, i.e. a sterile container, lab pouch, gloves, detailed instructions and even a FedEx or UPS clinical pouch for medical facilities located far from the laboratory.
Availius is currently working on producing kits for other specialized tests.
