Kollaboration DC 2011 Contestants Announced
Online, August 30, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Kollaboration DC, the Washington Metropolitan area's only talent competition showcasing emerging talents within the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, announces its artists for this year's show. The September 17th show will be the second in Kollaboration DC history and will be held at the University of the District of Columbia Auditorium. The following nine artists will be competing for a 1st place prize of $1000 and a music video opportunity: Matthew Almodiel, Lumi Bustamante, Philip Chang, Michelle Chong, FALLWORTH, Alvin Tam, MOKSHA, Alice Park, Alec Zhang and Emily Barnes.
Confirmed guest performances include: 2010 Kollaboration DC 1st place winner Chip Han, Rising Star award winner Aria Curameng, local rapper SickBoi, and more to be announced.
Ticketing and additional show information can be found here: www.show.kollaborationdc.org. VIP packages begin at $45 a person which includes a gift bag and free admission to the official after party at District in Adams Morgan. Reserved seats are $30 and general admission seats are $20.
