Kitchen Sink Holdings Acquires What I Like Assets to Take Snaperoo's Crowdsourced Content Sharing Platform to Market

Kitchen Sink Holdings subsidiary to expand the Snaperoo Crowd sourced Content Sharing Platform and aggressively expand partner program.

Kitchen Sink Holdings announced today it has acquired the assets of privately-held What I Like, Inc. Based in Wenatchee, Washington, What I Like is a software development company offering services and software tools for the social media market. Its intellectual property includes its namesake, What I Like, Myscifs, and Snaperoo. The acquisition is part of Kitchen Sink's strategic initiative to bring interactive branding opportunities and productivity solutions to the social, entertainment and athletic markets. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"Snaperoo was the primary reason for this acquisition," said Kitchen Sink Co-Founder Chris Elston. "It's an exciting product that is essentially ready to go to market and immediately improve the way businesses are able to interact with their customers. Whether it's a baseball team throwing fan photos up on the jumbotron during the 7th inning stretch and selecting the best photo for a prize provided by an event sponsor or a catalogue publishing real photos submitted by customers using their products instead of the traditional models pretending to use them, Snaperoo is going to both add revenue streams for a variety of businesses and just flat out change the way companies and their customers relate to one another."

"That's the big picture," Elston added. "But we're opening ourselves up to partners and developers as well. The applications for the Snaperoo platform are extremely diverse. It's not just corporate catalogues, concerts and big sporting events. While those are absolutely being targeted, smaller events like little league games and bar mitzvahs are equally applicable. In fact, there's a company called The Receiving Line already starting to use it for weddings. My wedding is less than two months away. I'd better call them now..."
