Kick Cancer Overboard Sends 4YO Cancer Survivor from Howell NJ on Cruise

Non-profit Kick Cancer Overboard Sent Jake Honig and his family to Bermuda!

Two local charities - Kick Cancer Overboard and Rockit! - recently collaborated to send 4-year old Jake Honig of Howell, NJ, and his family on a cruise to Bermuda.

It was a win-win-win situation last Sunday when the two local charities got together to raise money for the young brain cancer fighter.

Jake is packing to go on a cruise, instead of going to the hospital.

Kick Cancer Overboard (www.kickcanceroverboard.org) is a local 501c3 not for profit organization giving away free cruises to people whose lives have been affected by cancer.

Rockit! (www.rockitlive.org) is a local not-for-profit organization giving kids ages 8-18 a chance to play rock music at the Count Basie.

The Rockit! kids played over three hours of great music and raised not only the roof, but also enough money to send Jake and his family on a cruise on the brand new Royal Caribbean ship Quantum of the Seas

“Now, Jake is packing to go on a cruise, instead of going to the hospital,” said Kick Cancer Overboard Founder Ted Friedli.  “What a perfect example of kids helping kids!”
