Khortytsa’s growth is significant in Eastern Europe, where it is the #1 selling vodka (Ukraine/ Russia/ Georgia/ Kazahstan/ Poland/ Germany).
“The brand has seen tremendous growth in North America, particularly the United States, since its introduction in 2012,” notes Global Spirits US CEO Max Dubossarsky. “By November of 2016, Khortytsa reached 130,000 case sales, in just under 24 months, thanks to our aggressive sales and marketing strategy in the US.”
In 2014, Khortytsa was named among the world’s best distilleries at the New York International Spirits Competition (NYISC) and its flagship product, Khortytsa Platinum, recently took Gold at both the 2017 New York and LA International Spirits Competitions.
“Khortytsa – commonly called KHOR here in the US -- has made tremendous strides because it is a quality vodka at a terrific price,” notes Dubossarsky.
Khortytsa Vodkas are produced at Ukraine’s famed Khortytsa Distillery, which is among the world’s best distilleries. The brand is named for Khortytsa Island, which is known as “the heart of Ukraine.” This ancient island’s history dates back thousands of years, to the very roots of civilization. It is considered a sacred place, and is one of the country’s seven wonders.
Built in 2003, the Khortytsa Distillery is among the world’s finest distilleries. It uses a local organic filter containing schungite (a unique natural mineral) which allows it to get as close as possible to the structure of natural water. The filtration process is further enhanced with special birch and alder-tree charcoal and quartz sand.
