The little known Sagal Travel and Tours Agency, headquartered in Nairobi, has been nominated under "Kenya's Leading Travel Agency" of the Year category.
Dubbed as the 'Oscars of the Travel Industry', the World Travel Awards recognise excellence in travel, tourism and hospitality.
Since getting IATA certified in 2007, Sagal Travel and Tours has been growing steadily to become one of the highest volume ticket sales annually in Kenya. This has been recognised by various awards given by airlines such as Ethiopian Airlines, Qatar Airways and Emirates Airlines.
Sagal Travel and Tours has been very proactive in servicing the needs of its customers by having charters to service the North Eastern Kenya region when other Travel companies have shied away, due to logistics. This same client driven attitude has led them to open offices in Kampala, Uganda; Hargeisa, Somaliland, Mogadishu in Somalia expanding regionally, recognizing the growth potential of Africa and East Africa as its travel hub.
