KapohoKine Adventures, a premier tour operator on Hawaii island that conducts expeditions in the surrounding areas of Kona, Hilo and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (HVNP), has announced an exclusive partnership with Volcano Winery. Starting today, KapohoKine Adventures’ guests visiting HVNP will receive a private group vineyard tour, wine tasting and catered dinner.

KapohoKine Adventures is no longer working with Volcano House Restaurant.

“We are very excited to have such a unique partnership with Volcano Winery,” said Tony DeLellis, owner of KapohoKine Adventures. “As we embark on our second decade of fostering sustainable tourism, Volcano Winery is just the first of several new ventures that we will be announcing over the next year. We take pride in being able to create partnerships with local companies in order to bring more attention to the importance of creating a more self-sufficient and sustainable future.”

KapohoKine Adventures’ most popular tours that will now incorporate Volcano Winery include “Kilauea Hike ‘n Glow” that includes a four-mile hike across the crater floor; the HVNP-focused “Evening Volcano Explorer”; and “Zippin’ Volcano” for guests looking to incorporate an exciting zipline adventure.

Opened in 1993, Volcano Winery located near HVNP produces a unique array of wines and teas that capture the playful spirit and bounty of the island. Tropical fruits such as yellow guava and jaboticaba berry are blended with traditional wine grapes. Wines from Volcano Winery are only available in the Hawaiian Islands.
