I grew up in the health club business, my Dad owned and operated health clubs for thirty years, and that’s how I got my first job. When I started in real estate at age twenty-three, it was meant to be used as a stepping stone to raise the capital that I needed to go open up a health club, but then after several years in the business, I realized that even though health clubs were my passion, real estate very quickly became my obsession. The impact I could have in real estate was much greater than what I thought I could have in the health club industry."
