Jelly Tot Fanatic Proves She Is Still Sweet At 40!

A Manchester based Jelly Tot fanatic has officially changed her name by Deed Poll to 'Miss Jelly St Tots' in a bid to prove she is still sweet at 40.

Jane Nash, a self confessed 'wild child' from Whitefield, has always been called 'Jelly Tot' by her friends and family so, when her 40th birthday drew closer, her best friend, Dianne Burney decided to change her name as a present.
Miss Jelly St Tots said, "I have always been known as 'Jelly Tot' and Dianne has a fun name too so she decided to make mine official with a Deed Poll certificate. I'm known as Jelly Tot as I am her sweet little friend!
"Dianne searched for name change firms on Google and came across The Legal Deed Poll Service, who offer name changes for just £10. We were surprised just how quick and easy it was to do.
"So far I've not told anyone about my new name, but plan on telling everyone soon. I know they'll all have a right laugh about it. I don't think my friends and family will be too surprised as Dianne and I are always doing daft things and we are like Kevin and Perry when we get together! We are forever going out partying and, when we do have nights in, I am always armed with a pack of Jelly Tots."
Jamie Jackson, chief executive of The Legal Deed Poll Service, who were responsible for legally changing Christine Hamilton's name to Mrs. British Battleaxe, said, "We get so many crazy name change applications, but this is the first one in appreciation of the Rowntrees brand! It is great that Jane is proving that you can still be sweet at 40 and we think more people should start the next chapter of their lives with a brand new moniker!

"Maybe this will spark a craze and we will see people changing their names to Fruit Pastille or Tootie Frootie."

A spokesperson for Nestle UK, the manufacturer of Jelly Tots said, "We have always had a passionate following for our products, but to our knowledge this is the first time that someone has officially changed their name in appreciation for our brand!"
