JELD-WEN Windows and Doors Launches FiberLast Doors

Products Offer Homeowners a Mix of Energy Efficiency and Durability

(WINNIPEG, Manitoba) JELD-WEN Windows and Doors has recently released its FiberLast exterior door line to residents of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Available with full-lite, half-lite and full side-lite glass insert options, FiberLast doors provide a mix of performance and durability to homeowners and are some of the most energy efficient on the market.

The doors are perfect for climates with extreme temperatures. Their weather-resistant skin protects the doors from warping, cracking and fading, and their engineered Polyurethane foam core provides excellent thermal protection. They're also extremely environmentally friendly. They come ENERGY STAR certified, are constructed from 35 per cent recycled content and their AuraLast stiles are manufactured using a process that releases 96 per cent fewer volatile organic compounds.

FiberLast doors have also passed a barrage of independent trials for dent resistance and structural performance. In fact, FiberLast doors were even subjected to Accelerated Weathering tests typically used on products such as cement board siding. JELD-WEN is so confident in the performance of these doors that it has allocated an industry leading, 20-year warranty to this product line.

"JELD-WEN has always provided energy-efficient and long-lasting products to consumers," says Chris Sheldon, Director of Marketing for JELD-WEN Canada. "We're very excited to introduce this product line to the Canadian market. FiberLast doors are an affordable and durable option that homeowners will be able to enjoy for years to come."
