Jampp Launches Dynamic Product Ads for Mobile Apps

Jampp, leading app performance marketing and retargeting platform, launched Dynamic Product Ads for ecommerce mobile apps. Until now, this engagement product was only available within Facebook Ads, so mobile advertisers couldn't apply it to the vast volume of RTB exchange traffic.

Today, Jampp, leading app marketing and retargeting platform, announced its newest engagement product. Jampp’s Dynamic Product Ads allow advertisers to seamlessly promote their entire product catalog in seconds. The content featured in the ads is taken directly from the advertiser product feed and tailored for each user based on their previous in-app activity. Applying programmatic technology, Dynamic Product Ads ensures users are shown products and offers they actually care to see, which in turn, increases conversions and dramatically reduces advertisers’ cost per action (CPA).

The goal-oriented nature of mobile has apps becoming more like websites. Apps are not competing for the mobile home screen any more than websites are competing to become your default browser. Apps are installed and/or launched when users need them to complete a task. The first purchase after an app is installed actually happens within the first few days or it likely doesn’t happen at all.

Traffic and revenue has bolstered since deploying Dynamic Product Ads with Jampp. We no longer have to worry about how relevant the ads are for our users and can scale our product line efficiently.

Natália Dias, Mobile Product Manager of Netshoes

“There is a short window of opportunity right after a user installs an app in which the chances of that user making a purchase is at its maximum," says Diego Meller, CEO and Co-founder of Jampp.

To maximise the likelihood of users making a purchase shortly after the app is downloaded, mobile e-commerce advertisers need to remind users of what they were doing in the app. Whether that’s by showing them the specific product they have recently viewed or featuring a complementary product to their latest purchase. Early results prove that relevant ads are an effective way of leading users back to the app.

Unfortunately, creating hyper-relevant ads for users may not always be scalable for advertisers, especially if their app has over 100 product SKUs. With Dynamic Product Ads (DPAs), this is no longer an issue. The ad content is directly integrated with the product feeds, which include product names, prices, product images, and IDs. There are potentially as many ad creatives as there are products in the advertiser’s catalogue. App users never see the same ad twice as the ads are constantly updated using the consumer’s past browsing behavior and purchases, within a matter of seconds.

“Until now, you could only create Dynamic Product Ads for mobile apps with Facebook Ads, so mobile retailers were missing out on the vast volume of RTB exchange traffic everywhere else” says Meller.

Mobile businesses can use Jampp’s Dynamic Product Ads to turn new users into active customers and reconnect with existing customers to increase app retention and conversions such as purchases, bookings, listings and food orders.

Advertisers that participated in the private beta are already seeing at least a 600% increase in engagement when comparing DPA campaigns to standard retargeting campaigns.

“Traffic and revenue has bolstered since deploying Dynamic Product Ads with Jampp,” said Natália Dias, Mobile Product Manager of Netshoes. “We no longer have to worry about how relevant the ads are for our users and can scale our product line efficiently”.

Jampp has been driving the growth of some of the largest e-commerce companies globally, including Boxed, Souq, Namshi, Netshoes, OLX, Despegar and many others.
