iWave Introduces Qseven Module for Renesas' RZ/G1N MPU

Bangalore, April 5, 2016 (Newswire.com) - iWave is pleased to announce its second Renesas powered System-On-Module (SOM) based on Renesas’ RZ/G1N microprocessor (MPU). RZ/G1N-based SOM is Qseven R2.0 compatible MPU module. This module is fully hardware & software compatible with the earlier RZ/G1M module and supports 1GB DDR3 RAM, 4GB eMMC Flash and 2MB SPI NOR Flash with expandable options. The module includes Gigabit Ethernet PHY, Micro SD slot, USB HUB provided with Linux BSP support. This MPU module supports industrial operating temperature and hence it can be used for various industrial applications.

Renesas’ RZ/G1N MPU integrates dual ARM® Cortex®-A15 core operating at 1.5GHz core frequency and includes plenty high performance peripherals such as PowerVR™SGX544MP2 3-D graphics core @ 312MHz from Imagination Technologies Limited, 32bit DDR3 @ DDR3-1600 speed, Dual channel full HD encode & decode, three channel video IN support, Gigabit Ethernet, USB3.0 etc.
