The Empire State TV Extravaganza will be held to benefit NY Cares at The Playroom Theater (151 West 46th St; NY, N.Y.) Headlined by Orange Is The New Black's Constance Shulman (Yoga Jones), Blue Bloods' Len Cariou (Henry Reagan), Chase Backer, from the Chase Backer Show; as well as actors expected from Law & Order: SVU, and The Good Wife, participants will engage in a moderated talkback event revealing why shooting their shows in N.Y.C. is unique and how the NYC television scene is giving LA. a run for its money.

A $7 billion entertainment industry boosts New York City's economy where over twenty-nine television shows are now shot here. This growth of television production has been welcomed by the local tourism industry, politicians and businesses throughout the City. Join us, as our special guest stars discuss their pivotal roles in NYC's hot television climate.
