CHICAGO, May 19, 2021 (Newswire.com) - The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Princess Brownfield as a 2021-2022 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in entrepreneurship. The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online networking platform with more than 100 local chapters, international chapters and 1,000+ in-person and virtual events.
Although Princess Brownfield's experience with having family in the justice system and being involved in a domestic violence relationship had filled her with isolation, shame and guilt, through hard work and perseverance, she was able to overcome these obstacles.
"I had reached rock-bottom," Ms. Brownfield said "My imagination flourished and exaggeration propelled me to believe there was no hope. But through my growth, I chose to use those experiences to create the opportunity to investigate who I was and put into action who I wanted to become."
Two years ago, to help gender-defining and incarcerated/facility-bound women and those facing life experiences similar to her own, Ms. Brownfield, who is an active-duty Army Police Veteran, founded Crown Elevate Project, an all-women mental wellness coaching business "As a Certified Health, Life and Mindfulness Coach in women's wellness, I am able to offer high-quality, targeted mental and behavioral programs to relieve my clients' stress and physical issues," she said. "There are currently no such solutions offered in my community for all gender-defining and incarcerated/facility-bound women."
Ms. Brownfield is greatly rewarded by her work, knowing she is helping women rebuild and flourish. Recently recognized for her tireless efforts when she was inducted into the DC Mayor's Office of LGBTQ Advisory Committee under Miss Sheila Reid on May 18th.
