Kristine Trigg, better known as simply Kristine, is a multitalented singer and songwriter. New to Houston, Kristine is originally from Saginaw, Michigan. Kristine's love of singing began at the age of four when she decided it was time to give her life to Christ (so she could sing in the children's choir). Her golden voice to this day, remains unmistakably powerful, robust, and angelic. Gospel is her mainstay but her voice knows no limits for musical style. She has the ability to perform a wide range of genres. Her love for gospel and secular music along with her ability to write led Kristine to gain the honor of a recording contract formerly with Malaco imprint J-Town Records. Her first release charted on Billboard in the late'90s.
Kristine is debuting new music from her upcoming independent cd project entitled; I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO SING ABOUT, which will be released later this year. Kristine states, "I am very excited and nervous to be performing for the first time in my new home, Houston. I hope they love me as much as I love it here. I am also humbled to perform for such an important event in Texas' history."
