Author Sonya Warlick releases Christian children's book to inspire youth
(Columbus, Ohio, May 1, 2010) Columbus-based author Sonya Warlick has released "A King's Love for His Daughter," a Christian book for young girls between the ages of seven and thirteen. "A King's Love for His Daughter" teaches young readers to overcome their challenges through prayer, scripture, and faith in God. In the book, the main character and narrator Ameerah explains the basic tenets of Christianity and how through her Christian faith, she overcomes sadness, low self-confidence, and loneliness. With humor and clarity, she tells readers how it is that she joined the family of King Jesus and how they, too, can become princesses.
Author Sonya Warlick penned her book to create a positive role model for tweens around the globe. "The images we see in the media consistently promote the wrong message... Young girls seek worth in external things, but God has already said that we are worthy heirs to His throne."
