CCRA President Dic Marxen today announced that industry veteran, Bill Lawrence, has been promoted to Director of CCRA Travel Solutions' new Global Network Division. Lawrence, who previously served as CCRA's Director of Supplier Strategies, is now responsible for all aspects of CCRA's global supplier relationships and will report to Peter Pincus - President of CCRA's Global Network Division.

CCRA announced its international expansion earlier this year, with goals of becoming a leading travel industry provider in the global market. In addition to CCRA's already well-established U.S. hotel and supplier programs, dynamic booking engine for travel professionals and the most established after-hours 24/7 call center in the nation - the company has aggressive plans to create new products and service offerings to boost travel agency and hotel revenues worldwide.

"We are delighted that Bill Lawrence has accepted the position as director of our new global network division," said Dic Marxen, President of CCRA. "Bill has been an integral member of our company since he first came onboard with us four years ago, and he has contributed immensely to CCRA's continued growth and success in the U.S. market. He will be a key player in our international development team - through building and establishing new supplier relationships abroad."

Bill Lawrence first came to CCRA with more than 30 years' experience in the travel and hotel industry. He has held prominent sales, marketing and corporate development positions at top international hotel chains including InterContinental Hotels, Hilton International, ITT Sheraton and CIGA Hotels, Inc.. Additionally, Bill previously served as associate publisher of ASTA Magazine, publisher of the Official Hotel & Resort Guide and successfully led the corporate sales development for the Association of Corporate Travel Executives.

"The expansion of our new CCRA global network division is exciting and timely," said Bill Lawrence. "Building new global supplier partnerships is essential to our continued growth, and I am thrilled to be working with my clients and colleagues around the world to help further CCRA's international endeavors."
