Indore Management Institute Announces MDP (Management Development Program) for Working Executives

MDP - Management Development Programs, are much popular these days. Many of the b-schools and management institutions organize MDPs to the benefit of working executives and their own current and ex-students.

Business Management is a very broad and critical field wherein managers need to stay updated not only with current trends and developments in business sector but also of management skills and corporate culture. This is imperative for managers who want to keep their business growing. That is why many of the managers keep themselves updated with latest developments in the field of management by attending seminars and workshops globally. Indore Management Institute, one of the top 100 b-schools in India, has announced commencement of third MDP next month. IMI is a premier management school in Central India offering MBA (in Marketing, Management and HRM streams), BBA, BCA and BFA.

"MDP is meant to provide working executives with latest development and practices in business management" informs Mr. Vivek Tiwari, Dean IMI, "the program is designed various marketing concepts and techniques used in formulation of business strategies in various functional areas" he adds. Management programs are among the most sought after programs among managerial breed these days. Many of the entrepreneurs, scions and business managers travel even all the way to Oxford and Harvard to attend management related seminars and workshops. Certainly they help them improve their management skills and benefit organizational development. "We invite faculties from industry and from the top most management institutes in India and abroad" informs Mr. Tiwari.

MDP is also attended by IMI alumni and other practicing managers from India and abroad. Participants learn to integrate functional and general management approaches in their decision making process for better output. This in fact is also an initiative to update the faculty members by direct interaction with the industry persons and learn about practical problems and solutions. The faculties then incorporate these strategies in the curriculum for better development of the MBA students at IMI. There are various other tools adopted in the process such as case study, presentation, role plays, group discussion etc.

Money invested in knowledge never goes waste. In fact it does return manifold sooner or later. It makes life time improvement in a person's personality. This improves the way one lives and interacts with others which only decides the success in career and life. That is why many of the organizations sponsor their employees to such programs by granting them paid leaves and fee amount. There are many management institutions and b-schools in India but not all are equally interactive in their process of teaching to their students. Without live interaction with running industries the students will only gain book knowledge which might not be much effective in fact.

"We have also been offering customized management development programs on specific request of organizations" says Mr. Tiwari, "many of the organizations have benefitted from tailor made training programs for their managers at IMI so far" he adds. MDP can be attended by all level of managers ranging from sales managers to CEOs. It benefits them all. Above all the organizations benefit most whose managers keep themselves updated with new knowledge and skills.
