In Season: New Spring Creations Blossom at Red Marlin Restaurant
Online, May 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Spring has sprung and so has a new seasonal menu at Red Marlin restaurant. Chef Danny Bannister has refreshed the restaurant's menu with new spring-inspired offerings that take advantage of the season's bounty.
"We wanted to use the freshest, in-season ingredients to create flavorful dishes," said Danny Bannister, chef de cuisine at Red Marlin. "Our new menu offerings are prepared so that we can showcase what's growing in the garden right now and capture the finest flavors of spring."
The menu currently features delicious Steamed Clams with Garlic, Bacon, and Chardonnay and Beef Yakitori Skewers with Asian Slaw. Seared Tuna Tataki will also be served with Seaweed Salad, Wasabi, Soy and Pickled Ginger as well as the Soup of the Season, a special nightly soup, prepared by Chef Bannister using spring produce and herbs.
Several of the new main entrees include seafood such as the Crispy Ahi Tuna
with Brick Pastry and Green Tea Soba Stir Fry, Seared Sea Scallops with Pickled Vegetables, Mushrooms, Steamed Bamboo Rice and Dashi Broth, and Blackened Swordfish served with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Green Beans, Almonds and Cayenne Cream. Additionally, Tofu Lettuce Wraps are now available with Peanuts, Bean Sprouts and Bulgogi Sauce.
In addition to the new items, Red Marlin's signature dishes will be offered including Chef Bannister's famous Homemade Blue Crab Cakes, Roasted Beet and Humbolt Fog Goat Cheese Salad, Kurobuta Pork Chop, and Braised Short Ribs.
Red Marlin features a sophisticated dining room and casual outdoor terrace with fire pits to keep guests warm and cozy.
