IBC Holds Ten of the Top Twenty Slots on the Amazon Top 100 FREE Kindle Lists

At the close of day four in the five-day Lucky Days Free Par-Tay eBook giveaway event, participating authors continue to climb ranks.

After breaking into Amazon's top 100 Free Kindle Books within one day, participants in the Free Par-Tay event wondered how much better it could get. Apparently, they haven't saturated the market yet, because all of their titles continue to crowd the free list. At the close of the third day of Free Par-Tay, founders of the Indie Book Collective, the association hosting the event, can boast that more than ten additional books of their promoted titles have joined the other twenty that populated the Top 100 Free list yesterday. Amazingly, ten of the top twenty books on the Top 100 FREE list are Free ParTay participants. Stephanie Bond has three titles in the Top five Free! Other new titles hopping on the TOP 100 FREE include Worlds Burn Through by Vickie Kiere, A Hustler's Promise: Some Promises Won't Be Broken by Jackie Chanel, Burden of Blood by Wenona Husley, and Chosen by Sin by Virna DePaul. In addition, a boxed set of paranormal romance eBooks called Yearnings by Amber Scott and Carolyn McCray has found residence in the Top 20 of the free ebook list, as well.

Could this success be entirely due to savvy marketing of just a few people? Not according to Virna DePaul. "In the murky and erratic waters of self-publishing, I'm so grateful for the opportunity to lock arms with other dedicated writers; we support one another, cheer each other on, and learn the secrets that put a great book in front of thousands of readers."

However, marketing expertise and experience do play a large role in IBC events. Author J. Thorn says, "Even before The Seventh Seal entered the Free Par-Tay promotion, Carolyn's consultation helped to push my book from a daily sales ranking at Amazon of 500,000 to 20,000 among regular titles."

If that isn't impressive enough, Ann Charles left the promotion after three days FREE. Her Nearly Departed In Deadwood is sitting squarely at #20 overall PAID in Amazon Top 20 PAID list. Charles says "IBC rocked my world! Through their events I have learned the value of co-promotion, experienced the power of the strategic use of "Free" marketing, and gained vital knowledge about optimization, cover art, and branding. IBC has the tools you need for a successful writing career."
