About Brett M. Scheive: A graduate of the W.P. Carey business school at Arizona State University, Brett M. Scheive received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law where he graduated Cum Laude. Prior to becoming a founding partner of HLS Firm, he worked for several years in the areas of finance and real estate, including work as a financial analyst for a successful Real Estate Investment Trust and several years in commercial lease administration. Mr. Scheive is a licensed member of the Illinois Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

About Mark A. Laws: Michigan native Mark A. Laws attended the Unviersity of Arizona before moving to Chicago to earn his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law. Mr. Laws served as a law clerk with the Cook County's State's Attorney's office from 2007- 2009 and tried multiple felony cases on behalf of the people of the State of Illinois. To date, Mr. Laws has represented the rights of consumers, home owners and small businesses. His specific specialties are foreclosure litigation (on behalf of homeowners), consumer and small business bankruptcy, and consumer protection litigation. Mr. Laws has successfully recovered awards for his clients under federal and Illinois statutes such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act, and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

About Tiffany M. Hughes: Tiffany M. Hughes graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Psychology before moving on to earn her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. She focuses primarily on Bankruptcies, but has had several years experience with Criminal Law, Real Estate Law, Contract Law and Civil Litigation. Ms. Hughes is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois.
