Hollyberry and Time for Dinner to Host "Wine School for Chicks" Beginning August 20, 2010

Starting in August, Time for Dinner and Hollyberry To Go, are hosting "Wine School for Chicks." Participants will learn the secrets of pairing wines with foods, how to take the mystery out of choosing the perfect wine for any occasion.

WHAT: Starting in August, Time for Dinner and Hollyberry To Go, the pre-packaged brand of Hollyberry Catering, are hosting "Wine School for Chicks." Participants will learn the secrets of pairing wines with foods, how to take the mystery out of choosing the perfect wine for any occasion, and sample wines and foods to dispel common myths that often make wine selection seem overly complicated. Participants will learn the truth behind common myths including:
• Can you really ruin a delicious dinner by pairing the wrong wine with it?
• Do you have to pair white wine with chicken or fish every time?
• Is red wine your only choice to serve with beef or pork?
• Are dessert wines always sweet?
• Is the most expensive wine always the best?
• Does cheap wine always tastes cheap?

School starts on August 20, 2010. Each class begins at 5:00 p.m. with sampling and mingling. Mitch Turner from Major Brands will conduct the educational sessions which will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.. After class, participants will be invited to continue to taste food and wine pairings until 7 p.m. Featured wines and foods will also be available for purchase.

WHO: Hollyberry Catering and Time for Dinner, both St. Louis owned, women-owned enterprises.

WHERE: "Wine School for Chicks" will be held in the new retail boutique located within Time For Dinner's recently expanded location at 8506 Manchester Road in Brentwood, MO. The store is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shop features a variety of wines and beers, as well as Hollyberry To Go items, for purchase.

WHEN: Wine School for Chicks begins on August 20, 2010. Sessions will be held through December on the third Friday of each month. Space is limited and reservations are required.
