Hillsboro Hosting Central Texas' Premier Food & Fun Event
Hillsboro, TX, February 3, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Fire & Ice will occur in Historic Downtown Hillsboro on February 13, 2016 from 2:30pm to 10:30pm in Colonial Grand Hall and along Franklin Street.
During the day there will be a pepper eating contest, homemade ice cream contest, and a homemade salsa contest as well as Texas produced food samples from vendors in Colonial Grand Hall from 2pm to 6pm. These will be followed by a Fire Dancing show in the street after dark (approximately 6:30pm) and the doors to the dining hall will reopen at 7:30pm for the ticketed dinner.

The 4-Course dinner, provided by Buzzard Billy’s, will play on the theme of Fire & Ice with options for those who like it spicy and those that don't. Tickets are available for $30 per person. During the dessert course, the band Sway, a Sinatra style group, will begin performing and the dance floor will open up during their concert until 10:30pm. The concert is free and open to the public following the dinner.
There will also be a tasting of Balcones Distillery spirits and Real Ale Brewing Co's great selection of craft beers for a $10 ticket.
