High Sierra Consulting To Present At GSA E-Lab
High Sierra Consulting will be giving a presentation at the fast growing GSA E-Lab. These GSA ELabs are designed to help firms create and submit GSA proposals in three days.
Online, March 12, 2012 (Newswire.com) - High Sierra Consulting is teaming up with HLC Government Services to provide a series of GSA Schedule Proposal Development E-Labs. These three day comprehensive e-labs are designed to provide the same level of interaction that is given to an individual client but in a group setting which will allow for a significant reduction in the investment of the attending firms.
Ted Erlwein, CEO for High Sierra Consulting stated, "We have had excellent successes when working with companies one on one to develop their GSA Schedule proposals. Our process of going to a client's site for three days to develop their proposal has resulted in a dramatic reduction in the time needed to put together all the forms and documents necessary for submission of a GSA Schedule proposal." Mr. Erlwein continued, "But while companies see the value in that process, they were looking for an affordable option. The E-Lab setting gives the same level of detailed development interaction but provides an alternative to the one on one process at a savings of 70% in the fees."
The GSA Schedule program is a multiple award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract that allows firms to present their products or services for purchase by Federal government agencies. By being pre-approved, the contractors can achieve award of task orders against the GSA Schedule quicker and with less paperwork. Ted Erlwein and High Sierra Consulting have been providing GSA Schedule services to the business community since 2004. Mr. Erlwein states, "The GSA Schedule is a strong tool for a small business to have but the process to develop a proposal is laborious. But it's like anything else you work on for your business and the potential results are worth the effort."
Ted Erlwein had to smile as he related a recent conversation, "I was talking to an associate recently who had completed their own GSA Schedule proposal. He stated that he would rather have wisdom teeth pulled every day for a year than go back through the GSA process again." Mr. Erlwein went on to say, "We've just learned the nuances of the GSA Schedule proposal process and make it simpler and understandable for our clients."
Mr. Erlwein and his associates plan on presenting the GSA Schedule E-Labs in Arlington, Los Angeles, the Dulles Airport area, Dallas and Chicago over the next two months. Other major metropolitan areas are scheduled for later in the year.
