Heritage Line Revises Itineraries in Myanmar

Heritage Line is pleased to announce to our valued partners, that it now has its own Operations Team on the ground in Myanmar under the overall guidance of Terry Gordon, the line’s Director of Operations.

According to Managing Director, Maarten Perdok, “What this team has allowed us to do is evaluate each of the rivers [the Ayeyarwady and Chindwin] and the physical stops along the way in order to maximise the experiences for our guests. It is also incumbent upon us to offer as many enriching programs as possible in keeping with the credo of our Brand.”

Perdok further states, “Myanmar is seeing significant growth as a destination and we have to do our best to separate ourselves from the ever increasing competition.”

According to Nelson Balilo, Director of Sales & Marketing, “The re-evaluation of our operations in Myanmar has resulted in Heritage Line now offering seven standard itineraries, instead of five, and two specialty cruises – 5D/4N Christmas and a 5D/4N New Year’s 2016.”

“As a result, we have developed a new e-brochure titled, The Ayeyarwady Collection which we are sharing in pdf form. Balilo continues, “The new itineraries have resulted in revised rate structures and new contracts which will soon be forwarded to you. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience that it may cause in pre-selling our ship and itineraries, but our new offerings will deliver even more memorable experiences for your customers.”

In addition to receiving the revised contracts, a combined printed version of the brochure with all three of our destinations will be forthcoming.

The Anawrahta joins Heritage Line’s fleet of luxury cruise vessels in Ha Long Bay [Ginger, Jasmine and Violet] and on the Mekong [Jayavarman and Jahan.]
