Harvard University Hosts VaultNoir

VaultNoir executives represent Africa's emerging eCommerce industry at Harvard's African Business Conference

The Harvard Business School welcomed VaultNoir executives on Sunday for its 13th annual African Business Conference. Themed "Your African Legacy: Defining the Contribution of the Next Generation", this year's conference focused on maximizing the business potential of various emerging markets around Africa.

VaultNoir's Chief Operations Officer, Chif Umejei and Director of Finance & Corporate Development, Rob Onah, were present on the Innovative and Mobile Technology panel. Amongst the panelists were representatives of Google, McKinsey and a primary competitor, VTNetwork Ltd.

Met with applause as he articulated the need for collaboration in the new business sector, Umejei stated, "operating in silos will not lead to growth, collaboration is imperative among entrepreneurs". As he discussed the various challenges that startup businesses face, Umejei concluded by reaffirming VaultNoir's commitment to the Small Medium Enterprise market.

Not present at the event was VaultNoir's CEO, Uchechi Chuta. In a statement issued from Nigeria, Chuta expressed how important it was for VaultNoir to attend the conference, adding, "VaultNoir is dedicated in positioning itself as the market leader of the ePayment solutions industry in Africa". Chuta is currently overseeing operations in Nigeria where VaultNoir launched five months ago and seeking to expand business in the West African region.
