"Hair It Is/EZ Part": Makes Parting a Pleasure for Hair Professionals
WHEATFIELD, IN, December 8, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Control in the Merriam-Webster online dictionary describes control as: “to exercise restraining or directing influence over” and this is precisely what this new tool does for the user. Hair It Is/EZ Part is a line of “fingertip combs,” worn on the finger, designed to quickly and easily part the hair with a single tooth, sparing users the need to repeatedly pick up a traditional comb, thus making the process of braiding much easier and more efficient. A second version would add a miniature comb on the side, for use in parting and smoothing the hair when setting, perming, or coloring hair, as well as also for grabbing perm paper.
The Hair It Is/EZ Part is fabricated with silicone rubber and hard molded plastic and is a one-size-fits-all product. The Hair It Is/EZ Part is produced in several variations: one for fine hair, one for medium hair, and one for thick hair. The tapered tooth or tine of the EZ Part is made in a hard-molded plastic measuring 1” long extending straight up from the wearer's fingertip; the fingertip “cap” or base is fabricated in silicone rubber and measures 1¼” with a thickness of .050-inch. The EZ Part for fine hair has a relatively thin tooth, for medium hair has a medium-thickness tooth and for thick hair a relatively thicker tooth. A second version featuring a miniature comb in addition to the single tooth for use in smoothing the hair after parting it is also available. The Hair It Is/EZ Part is sold in multi-unit packs including all three hair tooth sizes. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in Hair It Is/EZ Part.
