Guest Lecture on Financial Learning With Respect to Indian Currency

IPER UG organized a Guest lecture on “Financial Learning with respect to Indian Currency” which was held on 10th August 2015. The session was conducted by Mr. Sachin Patidar, Sr. Manager RBI, Bhopal. He was assisted by Mr. Aekagra Saxena, Manager Operations, Currency Chest, ICICI Bank, Bhopal and Mr. Sandeep Malviya, ICICI Bank, Bhopal.

The lecture had been very informative to the students of IPER UG consisting of B Com (Hons), BBA and BM-MAM under IPER Group of Institutions. Mr. Sachin deliberated for an hour on the currency details and how printing of notes of various denominations takes place. He also elaborately explained the security features and the difference between real versus fake currencies.

The session was an interactive one, wherein students asked him many questions on the topic. One being ‘why devaluation of money takes place’, another being ‘difference between devaluation and inflation and ‘why the notes and currencies are gradually withdrawn from circulation’ etc.

At the end of the lecture Mr. Sachin along with Mr. Aekagra and Mr. Sandeep were presented with the IPER memento as a mark of remembrance from the Institute.
