GSS America appoints Mr. Pavan Maddali as Chief Technology Officer

Online, April 7, 2010 (Newswire.com) - GSS America Infotech Ltd. announced the appointment of Mr. Pavan Maddali, as Chief Technology Officer for their organization.
Pavan comes with a rich experience of close to three decades in the field of Information Technology working with TCS and Satyam. He was responsible in defining and implementing IT Strategy, Technology Roadmap & assessments, Software engineering processes, Outsourcing / Offshoring / Global delivery, Testing, Emerging technologies, Knowledge Management, open source technologies and SaaS in different capacities. Before joining GSS, he was heading the global solutions and presales teams for several verticals including BFSI, Retail, CPG, Health & Pharma, Transportation and logistics as Senior Vice President at Satyam Computer Services Ltd.

Pavan's primary responsibility would be to define the strategic direction of the services and solutions that create a competitive advantage and play a siginificant role in the future growth of the organization. His portfolio would include strengthening of the Solutions & Service offerings, the underlying leading edge technologies to meet the market expectations and to improve the productivity and quality of the solutions to meet the dynamic exigencies of the customer. He would also be responsible for maintaining the CXO relationships with various stakeholders of the customer organizations.
