GrowthZone AMS Releases 2022 Association Industry Survey Results
Only 47% of respondents believe their members clearly understand the value of the organization and the specific solutions offered.
NISSWA, Minn., January 6, 2022 (Newswire.com) - GrowthZone, provider of association management software, released its 2022 Association Industry Survey results.
Topics covered in the survey include values and policies, operating budgets, new service offerings, and membership growth. The results showed several interesting trends impacting today's associations. The report also includes words of wisdom and lessons learned from 2021.
"This year's survey results brought to light that while the majority of respondents do not have a written plan for increasing member engagement, member engagement improved or stayed the same since last year," said John Cook, GrowthZone Senior Vice President of Marketing. "It was also interesting that most respondents said up to half of their total revenue came from non-dues sources, and a small percentage said 100% came from these sources."
The survey report names the top 10 biggest non-dues revenue sources including events, sponsorship, products/services as the top three.
The survey was conducted in fourth quarter 2021, by email and received responses from over 300 association professionals across North America.
In its 8th year, the Association Industry Survey Results Report has proven to be a popular association resource year after year.
Detailed survey findings can be accessed on GrowthZone.com.
