A Little About the NPS

The National Park Service was founded in 1916 with the job of preserving and protecting the Nation's most valuable resources in addition to making sure that the people of the country were able to learn and explore these vast and valuable resources. With the help of local governments, other non-profits and caring citizens, the National Park Service maintains the same care and concern of the history, nature and the education of travelers from around the globe.
