Grapevine Communications, a leading full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agency, is pleased to announce that it has been named a finalist for the 2011 Manatee Small Business / Industry Excellence of the Year Award. Every year the Manatee Chamber of Commerce presents this award to local companies that exhibit entrepreneurial spirit, outstanding creativity, a positive workforce environment, attentive customer service and a commitment to the community. The winners will be announced at a luncheon ceremony at Renaissance on 9th on Thursday, June 9, 2011.

ETCO chose Grapevine to rev up its brand identity in the ignition components industry. Grapevine will update the high-tech company's logo and corporate identity, with premium print brochures and catalogs planned for the future. Founded in Bradenton in 1978, ETCO was established in a modest 5,000 square-foot facility producing 500,000 components per year, and has now grown to a 60,000 square-foot facility producing 450,000,000 components a year.

Downs Glass chose Grapevine to redesign its website and create new marketing collateral. The long-time local company was honored by the city of Sarasota as the oldest family-owned business in Sarasota. Downs Glass is known for quality work and exceptional customer service on projects that range from heavy glass custom shower enclosures to entire business plazas.
