GolfBoard Brand Receives EU Registration
GolfBoard Now Internationally Registered
BEND, Ore., December 28, 2017 (Newswire.com) - GolfBoard, its Surf-The-Earth tagline, and its broadly recognized GolfBoard silhouette icon have long been the registered U.S. trademarks of Sol Boards Inc. and/or for the exclusive use by the company to promote its unique product offerings. Now, these exclusive rights have been broadened to dozens of additional countries of the EU. This December, the European Union Intellectual Property Office has issued a trademark registration which precludes any other company from referencing the Company’s highly valued GolfBoard brand.
GolfBoard has quickly become recognized as the originators of personal mobility devices for golf courses worldwide. This EU trademark registration will only further strengthen the global GolfBoard brand reputation. In addition to multiple patent filings of its proprietary technology, the company can now aggressively enforce its US and EU trademark registrations.
Upon receiving verification of its EU registration, GolfBoard President Jeff Dowell shared the news, “This recent EU certification will greatly help protect GolfBoard’s strong market dominance, and further increase shareholder value. GolfBoard has already become a globally recognized brand, and its usage in the EU member countries, as well as the U.S., is now exclusive to our Company.”
