Go Green Or Go Home, Premium Escrow Services Recently Announced To Its Staffers
Dallas's Premium Escrow Services members are working under a new environmental mandate, helping the company to reduce their environmental impact.
Online, March 28, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Premium Escrow Services in Dallas recently announced the company's new environmental mandate, which instructed the staff members to work as a team to help reduce the environmental impact.
As those working for Premium Escrow Services were recently told how the company would be paper-free by April 1, 2011, some of the older employees are finding hard to grasp the concept. As financial companies go, paper is an essential part of business. Forms must be filled out, signed, etc. as part of the operating procedures of building a file for each client. However, with the advent of portable tablet readers, digital signature pads, and advanced encryption systems, operating a paper-free business is easier than ever. With the proper data encryption and storage practices in place, its actually safer for the client's personal data to be digitized. Paper forms can be lost, misplaced, or disposed of improperly causing personal data to fall into the wrong hands.
One of the other environmental mandates is to use only LED lighting in the offices, reducing the company's electric consumption by almost 80%. Coupled with the solar panels installed on the roof, Premium Escrow Services are now in a position to sell unused power generated on-site to the Dallas Electric Commission, one of the few power companies in the US to use a modern power grid that allows users who generate their own power to sell unused electricity to the electric company. As many other local businesses watch Premium Escrow Services with an air of curiosity, its apparent that the managers of Premium Escrow Services are onto something positive.
"We want to reshape the financial world's thinking. Paper is used so wastefully in our industry that we must adapt our business practices to exceed the nation's environmental stance," said Paul Harris, Premium Escrow Services main spokesperson. "The US is one of the few first-world countries to refuse to sign the Kyoto Accord, forcing a nation-wide reduction in greenhouse emissions. That means private citizens and companies must rise up and do their own part. I'm proud to be a part of Premium Escrow Services, we're redesigning how financial companies operate."
