Girbau Opens Its Subsidiary In Dominican Republic
Girbau celebrated on March the official opening ceremony of its new subsidiary in Dominican Republic. Also celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Dubai subsidiary
Online, April 8, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Punta Cana, Bavaro (Dominican Rep.) - Girbau celebrated on March 18th the official opening ceremony of its new subsidiary in Punta Cana Bavaro, Dominican Republic.
The group's President, Mercè Girbau, pointed out that the opening of these new installations "is a sign of the expansion strategy in mature markets in which Girbau has a high market share. The subsidiary will allow us to offer our customers a plus service with a faster and closer attention."
After 18 years of being in the country by means of a distributor, "the new subsidiary will improve the services offered to the customers and will promote the establishment of new saving systems in the laundry sector of the country" added the group's Vice-president Sales, Marketing and Services, Toni Rubies.
The opening ceremony gathered more than forty people, with the main hotel managers of the area and Girbau´s management team: the group's President, Mercè Girbau; The Vice-president Sales, Marketing and Service, Toni Rubies; the Key-Account Manager, Martà Bargalló; the subsidiary´s Vicepresident in Dominican Rep, David Arbó; and the subsidiary´s Manager, Noel Torres.
The opening ceremony was held in the Iberostar Grand hotel in Bavaro, which has its laundry entirely equipped by Girbau. For that reason, the ceremony ended with a visit to the laundry's installations.
The subsidiary in the Dominican Rep. is now one of the twelve subsidiaries that the group has in different parts of the world.
Girbau celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Dubai subsidiary
Girbau Middle East (GME), the subsidiary that Girbau has in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), celebrated on 27 February its 10th anniversary, coinciding with the Gulfood International Convention.
The celebration gathered the main distributors of the area and Girbau's management team in a dinner.
During the ceremony, the international sales manager and founder of the subsidiary together with the Dubai's company Newmatic, Jordi Bosch, pointed out that in a ten years period Girbau "has grown to become the first company in big laundry installations with batch washers". According to Bosch, "this has been possible thanks to the combination of high technology equipment, top-quality technical service and a great sales team".
Girbau Middle East is one of the twelve subsidiaries that Girbau has in different places of the world.
