Garden Plot: Vegetarian Dishes Debut at Mister A's
Online, April 16, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Mister A's is bringing more of the garden to your table with a new medley of vegetarian options prepared with locally-grown Chino Farms produce specially selected by Chef Stephane Voitzwinkler. Offered nightly on the dinner menu, the new dishes offer a fresh veggie alternative with four delectable and innovative culinary creations.
"Here at Mister A's and our sister restaurant Mille Fleurs, we've been mindful about local and sustainable long before it was fashionable," said Chef Stephane. "Seasonal local produce has always been incorporated into our recipes and we've offered a number of vegetarian starters and sides for years. Now, guests can enjoy a completely meatless meal from start to finish."
Beyond an ordinary veggie platter, the selections include Sweet Onion Fettuccini Primavera served with spring vegetables and light reggiano cream sauce; Braised Baby Artichoke "Barigoule" with onions and black olives; Grilled Eggplant Roulade with ratatouille and herb goat cheese; and Spinach and Ricotta Cheese Gnocchi with tomato emulsion granna padano parmesan. Some of the dishes can also be prepared vegan upon request.
The four new vegetarian entrees are priced from $14 a la carte or $29 for a combination of three and offer an inspired alternative for health and environmentally-conscious guests.
