Fusion Recovery Earns State of California Certification for Its Outpatient Substance Abuse Services
San Jose, California, October 27, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Fusion Recovery has earned a State of California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) certification for its outpatient substance abuse services. Certification is voluntary and reflects Fusion Recovery's commitment to providing a high level of service quality and exceeding State program standards, specifically the Alcohol and/or Other Drug Certification Standards.
Michael O'Brien, Chief Operating Officer, says:
"While the State of California does not offer licensing to outpatient substance abuse programs, Fusion Recovery strives to provide the best evidence-based practices that exceed the State requirements for certification. We are honored that the State found that we do."
Fusion Recovery offers a full range of outpatient services to adults and their families. Programs are tailored to participants' needs, values and goals, and are designed to provide greater flexibility, independence and success than residential rehabilitation services. Treatment options may include a combination of evidence based treatments such as individual therapy, mindfulness training, medical support and intensive family services.
Therese Frey, Chief Executive Officer, says:
"Fusion Recovery was founded on the principle that treatment can be done better and more effectively with higher success rates. We work hard every day to provide the best possible care to those affected by substance abuse and their loved ones and family members. We're honored to receive the State certification and endeavor to help as many people as we can. We offer one of the only programs in the State where friends and family members can receive help even if their loved one is not in treatment."
Fusion Recovery treats addiction and substance use based on scientific research that offers higher success rates that typical social based recovery programs and works to return participants to a richer and more balanced life while remaining substance-free.
