FTS Receives Award, Top Four in Tampa Bay

Business Leader Magazine awarded FedTechServices, Inc (FTS) number four in the Top 300 Small Business of the south in the Tampa area.

Business Leader Magazine, a magazine that provides "local business intelligence" and features businesses from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and south Florida, awarded FedTechServices, Inc (FTS) number four in the Top 300 Small Business of the South of 2011 in the Tampa area, and number 32 overall.

FTS received this award during a ceremony held on June 22nd, at which FTS was commended for their generous donations to the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to children and spouses of soldiers who have died in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Business Leader Magazine selected the top 300 small businesses based on three factors: revenue growth, business achievement, and community achievement. FTS has seen dramatic growth since its inception in 2008, first working with U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), providing network solutions by implementing Theater Network Management Architecture (TNMA). In 2010 FTS developed TNMA 2.0, a tactical version of TNMA, which was procured by U.S. Forces - Afghanistan (USFOR-A).

FTS has recently opened an international branch in Canada, and plans to move beyond government contracts to the private sector. FTS is also active in community service, having participated in Habitat for Humanity this last November, while FTS' president, Jocelyn Noble, volunteers with the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce's KidSafe program, which makes the internet safer for children.

Accepting this award on behalf of Jocelyn Noble, Tisha Williams stated: "accepting this Top 300 Small Businesses of the South Award on behalf of our President was truly gratifying. To be 32nd on the multi-state list proves that all the hard work and dedication by our entire team is paying off. We expect growth to continue as in the previous 3 years and look forward to all the opportunities coming our way."

FTS will be featured in Business Leader Magazine for its achievements, and will also participate in a radio interview.
