Fox Hit Show "Glee" Gets Their Own Day

Filmmaker and Lightning Pictures LLC CEO has organized Monday, March 21, 2011 as national "Glee Appreciation Day", a national day recognizing the television show for their charitable and entertainment works.

Los Angeles, CA - Lightning Pictures LLC CEO, actor/director/writer/producer, and big "Glee" fan Stephen Rollins has organized a national "Glee Appreciation Day" on Monday, March 21st, 2011, recognizing the hit Fox television show for their work in arts education in schools, as well as their work in addressing socail issues such as bullying, and contributions to various charitable organizations.

Select school glee clubs and choral groups nation wide will be performing musical numbers from "Glee" in honor of the program. Mr. Rollins will present certificates to the producers, cast, and crew of the show from Los Angeles Mayor Villaraigosa, Congressman Howard Berman, as well as other key political dignitaries. In addition, Mr. Rollins has arranged through the assistance of Senator Dianne Feinstein to have flags flown over the nation's capitol building on the day of the event and will later be presented to each of the show's cast, producers, and crew. Mr. Rollins states: "This show has brought so much joy, thouched many lives through song and dance, and there are many special untold stories of just how much this show means to some people. This is my way to say thank you to the show from those untold stories".
