"Nuclear energy is a proven solution for limiting pollutants in the air, water, and climate," said Dr. Kathryn Huff, Acting Assistant Secretary for the Department of Energy's Office of nuclear Energy. "It's important to not just continue using nuclear power, but also to expand its use to decarbonize our energy system. I'm glad people will learn more about its promise through this series."

Each episode will explore different parts of nuclear energy's story:

In part one of the four-part exploration of nuclear energy, the show will journey to the world of innovation to discover how nuclear energy can help us achieve the 2050 goal of a zero-carbon footprint.

In part two, the show will visit the world of innovation to discover the history of nuclear energy in the United States, how nuclear energy is being used in today's world, and what tomorrow's nuclear reactors might look like.

Part three explores how small modular reactors can help provide power to remote locations or during natural or other major outages.

In the final part of the four-part exploration of nuclear energy, the show will explore how nuclear energy is helping with space exploration, followed by a roundtable conversation with some of nuclear energy's top minds to discuss what nuclear energy looks like in tomorrow's world.
