Fort Smith Dentist Undertakes Continued Education at Highest Level

Fort Smith, AR, March 2, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Dr. Charles Liggett, of River Valley Smile Center, a leading dental practice in Fort Smith, Ark., completed two continued education courses on fixed and removable dental implants, rendered by the Kois Center.

The courses, entitled “Kois Track - Course VI & VII,” focused on fixed and removable implants. Topics discussed extensively included: the five keys for peri-implant esthetics, how to achieve predictable implementation of implants, techniques for impression making, capturing jaw relation records, establishing vertical dimension, positioning teeth for esthetic excellence and more. The courses provided 50 continuing education credit hours and included lecture, demonstration, case presentation and discussion.

Dr. Liggett will pursue two more courses in order to complete the post graduate continuum and graduate from the Kois Center program. The Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners requires Arkansas licensed dentists to fulfill 50 credit units every two years; Dr. Liggett has far exceeded the requirement.

Dr. Liggett pursues continued education in order to guarantee patients receive current, excellent care.
