At the events, Riley spoke about his passion for job creation and economic progress. "I want to keep doing everything I can to get businesses to come to and expand in Alabama. Working with alliantgroup I'll be able to take things a step further to help our state's and this country's economy," said Riley. "I may be out of office, but I will continue to work with Senators and Representatives to fight for things I believe in. alliantgroup is making great strides helping businesses seize tax dollars they have coming to them, and I'm proud to join this outstanding team."

The former governor said that up to 90 percent of American businesses that could qualify for the R&D deduction either are not aware of it or don't seek it. "That's a critical loss of dollars that companies could use during tough economic times," Riley said.
