Florida Couple Opens Company To Arrange Short Term Christian Missions To Florida And Haiti

Paul and Jackie Munsie of Vero Beach, Florida have formed a not-for-profit company, Epic Missions, Inc., to arrange and lead customized Christian mission trips to locations in Florida. In addition, the company also arranges trips to Haiti.

Paul and Jacqueline Munsie, a married couple with a background in Christian ministry and missions, have just launched a not-for-profit company that will facilitate short-term missions in Florida and Haiti, Epic Missions, Inc. The company's web site, http://www.epicmissions.org, went live last week. Epic recently recieved 501c3 tax exempt status from the IRS.

Paul Munsie is the corporation's president. His wife of 28 years, Jacqueline, is vice president. The Munsies are in the process of seeking 501c3 status for their non-profit organization.

Short-term missionary groups - typically teens, college students or Christian organizations of any age - from all over the country will be visiting Florida's Treasure Coast area to help local charitable or church groups in a customized mission trip created especially by Epic Missions to meet the needs of each particular group.

"Planning a Christian missions trip with us is an opportunity for mission team members to, in just a few days, see what it is like to make a lasting impact in the lives of others," Paul Munsie said, "all by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in creative ways that match the talents of the team and the needs of the people to whom they will minister."

Epic Missions already has established relationships with a number of ministries in St. Lucie and Indian River Counties, including Let's Bury Violence, Habitat for Humanity, Prison Fellowship, The Love Center, Sportsologie and Sarah's Kitchen, along with a number of local churches. Florida missions teams will be paired with the organization that can best use their particular talents.

For those interested in mission work in Haiti, Epic has an exclusive relationship with the CARHA Orphanage in Gonaives, Haiti, and missions trips there will be led by Pastor Djume Septembre, the founder of CARHA (Christian Active Relief for Haiti).
