First Car Rental finds the rhythm

Online, April 30, 2010 (Newswire.com) - When South African Tourism joined forces to inspire Corporate South Africa to Fly the Flag in the build-up to the 2010 Soccer World Cup, they could not possibly have imagined that staff would pour their hearts into this very special South African dance.
And leading the way is First Car Rental. By learning and performing the football-inspired Diski Dance, approximately 80 Johannesburg airport branch staff and management go to great lengths to display their pride every Friday by dancing the diski whilst wearing their Bafana Bafana supporters shirts in the Car Rental foyer at O R Tambo Airport.
The cameras flash from beginning to end. First Car Rental staff at all 40 branches nationwide proudly wear these supporter shirts every Friday displaying First for Bafana Bafana on the back to thousands of travellers.
Considered one the fastest-growing car rental companies in South Africa, First Car Rental have 380 staff at 40 branches nationwide with access to 17000 locations in 125 countries. 2010 is a special year as it is First Car Rental's first decade as a car rental organisation (previously called National Alamo) and their 2nd birthday as the rebranded First Car Rental.
