FIDO Friendly Magazine Announces Its Annual 50 Best Of List

FIDO Friendly magazine, leading dog travel experts since 2001, announced the 50 most FIDO Friendly cities, daycares, explorers, canine chefs, hotels, and more in the world of dogs.

"The best of list is the crème de la crème of all things dog," Publisher Susan Sims remarked. "With our 50th celebratory issue featuring cover girl Betty White, we are excited. In dog years though, we're still puppies at heart. The roads and skies we've traveled over these past ten years have been adventurous, curious, enlightening and never boring."

Now entering our 11th year of publication in 2011, FIDO Friendly magazine includes the very latest hotel and destination reviews along with health and wellness topics, dog training advice, rescue and feel-good stories, contests, and the latest pooch products to hit the market.

We also believe in giving back and our publisher is the brainchild of "Get Your Licks on Route 66,set to once again leave Chicago in September and travel America's Favorite Highway with our climate-controlled adoption bus, stopping at partner shelters along the way and taking pets to venues for adoption. In our first two years, we helped place 500+ pets into new forever homes.

Susan Sims (Publisher), Nicholas Sveslosky (Editor-in-Chief), and Carol Bryant (Writer and Social Media/PR Director) are available for commentary and interviews on the Annual 50 Best Of List and what it takes to remain the lead dog in a competitive canine marketplace.

With 78 million people owning dogs in this country, our beloved canines are family members. In our 11th year, FIDO Friendly is the travel and lifestyle magazine and the one magazine your dog will thank you for. More and more hotels, bed and breakfasts and businesses in general are realizing that people love, adore and travel with their dogs. Come celebrate with us as we continue to Leave no dog behind®.
