FDM Group Joins Forces with the Government on Its G-Cloud Iii Framework
Online, July 22, 2013 (Newswire.com) - One of Europe's fastest growing companies, FDM Group, has been accepted to join the government's G-Cloud iii framework as a supplier, allowing FDM to now sell its services to every government body throughout the UK.
Akin to eBay and Amazon, the G-Cloud Cloudstore is the government's portal for the procurement of services, predominantly in IT. It is a centralised procurement function for all government departments and organisations and all companies who are accepted onto the programme have been successful in their tender to the government.
FDM's CEO, Rod Flavell, said, "The government's G-Cloud iii framework has revolutionised the way government organisations and bodies source IT services and we're delighted to have been accepted onto this programme. Previously businesses had to go through long processes to sell their services and G-Cloud has streamlined and simplified the whole process, bringing together the government and suppliers."
FDM is an international IT services company that specialises in providing clients with resources trained in core IT disciplines such as project management, software development, data services, system testing and quality assurance, application and infrastructure support.
Flavell comments, "We pride ourselves on the quality and knowledge of our IT Consultants. Each graduate that passes through our doors receives award-winning training and industry certified qualifications, ensuring that all our clients receive services of the highest quality."
Initially, FDM is offering services in infrastructure support, system testing and project management and is looking to expand these offerings in the near future.
