FansTang Partners With Chinese Media Giant Hunan TV's Online Platform To Extend Exclusive Live-Streaming Agreement For Four Premium Hollywood Events in 2016

FansTang's new 2016 deal includes the exclusive China live-streams of four major Hollywood events: Golden Globe Awards, People's Choice Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and American Music Awards; as well as FansTang-produced red carpet, backstage and other Chinese-language interactive shoulder programming.

FansTang has extended its strategic partnership with Hunan TV, one of China's largest entertainment networks, to exclusively live-stream four premium Hollywood events and their customized Chinese-language shoulder content to China in 2016.

During its 2015 partnership with Hunan TV, FansTang's 2015 Golden Globe Awards search index on Baidu (China's dominant search engine) increased by nearly 80% year-over-year during the show's promotional and marketing run-up. The 2015 Billboard Music Awards also saw a substantial rise in viewership and social media engagement, achieving over 3.8 million live views and 76 million Weibo mentions.

These live-stream successes are a result of FansTang's continuously increasing social media promotional capabilities, its extensive pre-promotion across social media platforms, the integration of popular Chinese TV hosts, Hunan TV's popularity, and the growth of each event's branding in the Chinese market.
