Family Worship Center of American Canyon to Participate in National Day of Prayer: Pray for America May 3, 2018

Family Worship Center of American Canyon, California, will participate in the national National Day of Prayer: Pray for America with a local gathering at their church. The prayer service will be led by the Reverend Lawrence Exum on Thursday, May 3, 2018.

National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for our nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. It exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer.

“Family Worship Center will be praying for our country and its leaders,” says Pastor Lawrence Exum. “We will be specifically praying for unity and God’s direction, provision, protection and blessings upon our country.”

The church will be open for prayer on Thursday, May 3, at the Family Worship Center, from 7-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served afterward. The church is located at 109 Klamath Court in American Canyon. For more information or questions about the event, their phone number is (707) 557-7745 or visit their website www.fwcnb.org
