Family Footcare Puts Best Foot Forward for the Community as Mayor Thompson Pronounces May to Be Foot Health Month in Caledon
Caledon, Ontario, May 27, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Last week at an informal ceremony at City Hall, Caledon Mayor Allan Thompson presented Family Footcare owners Anna Maria Infante and Domenic Gagliardi with an official Proclamation declaring May to be 'Foot Health Month' in Caledon.
The Proclamation was issued by Mayor Thompson in recognition of Family Footcare's outstanding contribution to community's health and wellness, as well to increase public awareness of the importance of foot health.

Mayor Thompson encouraged all citizens of the Caledon community to become better educated concerning proper foot health, and pointed out that a small amount of preventative care in the present, can prevent serious issues which limit personal mobility in the future -- especially for seniors.
Thompson also thanked Infante and Gagliardi for their part in Caledon's successful 2016 Mandarin MS Walk event that was held on Sunday May 1st. As lead sponsors, Family Footcare staff generously donated their time and money to support the 2016 Mandarin MS Walk, which raised over $42,000. towards funding world-class research to end the mobility-robbing disease Multiple Sclerosis.
