Explore3D Travel today announces its six month schedule for the production of 3D TV and film content. Included in the upcoming program we have scheduled several exotic and adventure-laden travel shows, an epic historical documentary, and several spectacular programs focusing on the culture, cuisine, and mysteries of Asia. Each episode offers exclusive 3D footage shot on expeditions that stretched from the Gobi desert to lush tropical destinations in Southeast Asia, from modern day Russia to historical San Francisco, and from high on the Tibetan plateau to beneath the oceans off Thailand and Malaysia.

Phuket
The resort of Phuket on the Andaman Sea features lush island getaways where visitors have a choice of undersea diving, island adventure treks, or world class spas. Explore3D Travel's filmmakers have captured the essence of these experiences, bringing spectacular underwater 3D to the screen that is immediate in its feel and look. Above ground, viewers will get a taste of walking through the treetops and swinging across rope bridges. Phuket's image is iconic, from the unique spires of James Bond island to the jungle encrusted offshore isles and mainland resort area.

Naadam Festival
Mongolia's Naadam Festival celebrates the rite of passage and is also known as the Festival of Three Manly Events. For the first time, Explore3D Travel offers exclusive 3D footage of this mesmerizing cultural highpoint in the Mongolian calendar. Contestants engage in wrestling, horse racing, and archery competitions. Over 2000 years old, the event predates even Genghis Khan. Recently, women have begun participating in the horse racing and archery events. Up close, meanwhile, our cameras caught performances of the Mongolian chant, which is a ritual used to impart good luck to the events' trainers. And the scenery and background includes Mongolian food such as hoshut, or beef rolled into flattened dough and deep fried, ornate silk dresses, and intimate views of Mongolian ways of living, such as Mongolian throat singing, an unearthly and unique form of song.

Moscow
Explore3D Travel recently flew to Moscow and trained its 3D cameras on sights old and new in the Russian capital. Among the monuments from the Communist era are Stalin's Seven Sisters, the neo-classical skyscrapers built in the 1950s and situated throughout the city. They offer superb contrast with the multi-colored, onion-shaped domes of St. Basil's cathedral built by an earlier Russian leader, Ivan the Terrible, in the 16th century. Our 3D tour completes its trip with a journey on the Moscow River, a view of the Spassky Tower Festival of military bands on Red Square, a sampling of Moscow nightlife, and the annual reenactment of the Battle of Borodino, Napoleon's costly battlefield victory that made his strategic defeat inevitable.

Bangkok
When Explore3D Travel went into Bangkok, the filmmakers faced the challenge of accurately depicting the vast expanse of this Southeast Asian megacity. What we captured were sublime images of the porcelain-encrusted central pagoda at Wat Arun and the magnificient reclining Buddha at Wat Pho near the Chao Phraya River. We captured more modern spectacles with our underwater 3D in the shark tank at Siam Ocean World. Then, our cameras traveled to Bangkok's Chinatown, floating markets, eateries, and canals, while also picking up views of elephants, crocodiles, water taxis, and longtail boats. Each one an icon of Thailand and Bangkok.

Beijing, Forbidden City
In China, we journeyed to Beijing and the Forbidden City. Inside, our 3D cameras captured the once mysterious seat of power and authority in China during the days of the emperor. In 1912, Puyi, the last emperor of China, abdicated the throne. Almost 100 years later, Explore3D Travel's filmmakers managed to film Pu Yi's nephew practicing an ancient and rare style of Chinese calligraphy inside the Forbidden City.

Eagle Festival
In one of the most inaccessible regions of Mongolia, our teams captured exclusive 3D footage of a western Mongolian Eagle Festival. For almost two weeks, we lived with a hunter and his family and learned how he trains his eagles and then takes them on a hunt. Our 3D cameras caught the immensity of the Mongolian plain with towering snow-capped mountains surrounding us in the distance. We gathered intimate 3D footage of life in a Mongolian Gur, or lodge, and recorded rare images of what it takes to survive in this vast, frigid landscape.
Similan Islands Diving
Just about eight hours off the west coast of Thailand lie the Similand Islands, perhaps the site of the best diving experience in the world. Our 3D diving team captured an underwater expanse of corals and varied sea life, all bathed in crystal clear blue waters. To carry out our production, Explore3D Travel spent its days on a "live-aboard boat", and we include fascinating 3D footage of diving preparations, life in close quarters, and how to contend with the elements of the ocean.

Legendary Trail: Following the Path of the Ponies of Lampang
This 3D special provides a fascinating insight into the migratory patterns of animals and people. At the heart of the story are the Ponies of Lampang. Located in Thailand's exotic northern Chiang Mai district, Lampang is home to several hundred working ponies. Recent DNA research has found that the ponies originated in Mongolia, as did most Thai people over a thousand years ago. Explore3D Travel looks into this fascinating story of how people and animals over time moved from one region of the world to another that could not be more different from each other: the vast, frigid, empty, open spaces of the Mongolian steppes and the remote mountains encircling them to the humid flatlands and jungles of Thailand.

Spassky Tower Festival
In Moscow, Explore3D Travel produced a 25 minute special of the Spassky Tower Festival. Located on Red Square, the festival focused on international military marching bands. Participants came from across the globe. Our cameras not only capture the pageantry and ceremony associated with the bands but also features a dramatic fireworks display over St. Basil's cathedral.

Singapore
The city-state of Singapore is located on the southern tip of the Malay peninsula. It serves as a commercial hub for Southeast Asia as well as being in the geographic center of the general region that includes Australia and Southeast Asia. Our Explore3D Travel team recently travelled to this trendsetting megacity and captured its vitality and innovation. From architecture to advanced forms of public transportation, our images of Singapore show why tomorrow is happening today in Asia.

Bali
When our film crews went to furthest region of Indonesia and the resort area of Bali, they discovered a bustling mecca for travelers seeking romantic vistas, vibrant cultural explorations and the most up to date luxury in tropical accommodations. Our cameras spent time on the beaches and in Balinese Hindu temples. We also depict several Balinese dances, temple festivals and other ceremonial activities

Chiang Mai
Located in Thailand's remote north, Chiang Mai is one of the country's most beautiful and attractive region for tourists seeking the scenic beauty of tropical jungles, mountains, and forests. Explore3D Travel also looks at the city of Chiang Mai as well, with its nearby national park, elephant rescue center and imposing temples.

SanFrancisco
In San Francisco, Explore3D Travel spent weeks capturing the unique qualities of this American city. From its hilly environs to its old style cable cars, San Francisco still vibrates with the echoes of its past as the major port for the California Gold Rush. Today, its historic environs sit right next to the very latest architectural innovations housing the headquarters of the companies leading the technology revolution. The old and the new, sitting side by side, in harmony, and producing an eclectic culture and arts scene unsurpassed anywhere in the world. All viewed through a 3D lens that brings things to life in a way until now unimagined.

Tibet
High on the Tibetan plateau, Explore3D Travel's camera crews gathered unique 3D footage of Tibet. Included are images of Tibetan Buddhist practices, a visit to Lhasa, festivals, music, and architecture.

Las Vegas
Capturing the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas in 3D was the goal of Explore3D Travel's camera crews when they journeyed across the desert to this city of neon lights and 24 hour entertainment. From the famed Vegas shows to its world renowned casinos, Las Vegas never stops. And no city in the world is made for 3D than is Las Vegas, with bright lights, exhibitions, and theme hotels cascading down the famed Las Vegas Strip.

Trails of a Legend: The Thai Ponies of Lampang
This epic documentary follows the quest of the "Thai Horse Savior", Dr. Siraya Chunekamrai, a veterinarian of impeccable international reputation. Cross breeding and improper care have reduced the ponies' numbers drastically. Her quest to save the Thai Pony from extinction has led her on a path of remarkable discovery.

In treating these regal animals Dr. Siraya noticed striking similarities between the Thai Pony and the Mongolian Wild Horses. Known as Przewalski's Horse, these animals are considered to be the last of the true wild horses left in the world.
From 2003 - 2007 hair and blood samples were taken and tested at the Veterinary Genetics Laboratory at the University of California, Davis. The Veterinary Genetics Laboratory is the most technologically advanced and boasts the largest equine genetic database in the world.

The startling results revealed that these gentle ponies are not a modern horse breed but are indeed descendents of ancient horse breeds, including the Przewalski and Asian Wild Horse. In addition, these remarkable creatures show a unique ability to withstand some of nature's most deadly diseases like the deadly West Nile virus. How do they survive? What are the secrets of their pedigree and longevity?

Follow Dr. Siraya through the mountains of Northern Thailand to the steppes of Mongolia and into the vastness of the Gobi Desert in search of the DNA evidence to validate their heritage.
